    Summer Interpretive Nature Walk

Meet up with NCWA staff for an evening walk around the meadow at the end of the Astoria Riverwalk. As part of growing awareness of the need for natural spaces within city limits, the NCWA will host an informal meet-up to explore the meadow at the east end of the riverwalk, adjacent to the Alderbrook neighborhood. Come look for birds, learn the names of some of the plants you walk by everyday, or just stretch your legs at the end of the day!

The NCWA team recognizes that everyBody benefits from time spent in nature, and as such, the pace of this walk will be fairly slow. This activity is part of a series of engagement events to help foster connection and ecological understanding of urban greenspaces and to help build interest in the River Community Advisory Council.
